Dr. Daniel Fordice
Daniel grew up and graduated in Fairmont, MN. He received his BS degree in biology from UMD, where he met his wife Meghan, who grew up in Babbitt, Minnesota. His masters degree in Microbiology from UMD uniquely prepares him to understand the bacterial challenges of the mouth environment. Next came four years of dental school in Chicago at Midwestern University, where their first child Julia was born.
Dr. Jeff and our staff thank Dan and Meghan for taking a year out of their lives in 2017. He delayed his residency to help care for Paula during her cancer treatments. Allowing Jeff to practice and Paula to have Meghan’s excellent care at home.
Next, Dan completed a one-year advanced General Dentistry Residency in Santa Barbara, California. After two years of working as a general dentist in a high-tech Santa Barbara practice, he and his family returned to his hometown, Fairmont.
His wife Meghan is a paralegal and is now focusing on raising their three busy children. They are active in our community, church, and family, making a great life back in Minnesota.
In dental practice, Dan is focused on how new information, technology, methods, and materials can enhance the health of his patients. He is passionate about continuing education and is currently studying how the mouth and airway can affect the quality of our sleep, our total health, and our daily lives.
Dan has interests in his kids, photography, art, technology, guitar, RC flying, snow skiing, health, nutrition, orthodontics, and sleep medicine that enhance his skills as a dentist.
Dr. Jeff Fordice
Dr. Jeff Fordice has over 40 years of experience delivering superior dentistry with results that last. From getting to know his patients to meeting their dental needs, he loves everything about his job and the dentistry he provides. Each day Dr. Fordice feels privileged to use his hands to perform very detailed procedures that use science, technology, dental materials, and up-to-date techniques. These procedures use principles of design, creativity, and many art-like skills that keep him enthused about dentistry. Even though the dental industry changes quickly with new technology, he enjoys embracing the change. His goal is to help each patient achieve and maintain a healthy smile they love while using the standard of service he wants.
Dr. Fordice earned his AA degree from Inver Hills Community College in 1974 and graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul with a BA in Biology in 1977. He went on to complete his dental degree at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1981 and completed his General Practice Residency at the University of Iowa in 1982. After two years as an associate dentist in Duluth, Dr. Fordice opened his practice in Fairmont in 1984. Since learning new things is a passion, he has since completed hundreds of hours of continuing education courses.
Dr. Fordice and his wife of 39 years, Paula, had four children and have been blessed with nine grandchildren to date. Life changed for all in the family when Paula passed away in 2017 from brain cancer. God has granted us peace that tempers the sorrow of great loss. Jeff is doubly blessed to have found love a second time. Ann Gronewald and I were married in March of 2019, almost 18 years after the loss of her husband, Scott. Her two children have five children, currently bringing the total love opportunities to fourteen grandchildren. I have learned to highly value marriage and family relationships. Outside of spending time with his family, Dr. Fordice enjoys water sports, the great outdoors, painting, woodworking, and auto restoration. He is active in his church, is the teaching director for Community Bible Study evening co-ed, and has gone on mission trips to Ecuador, Dominican Republic, and twice to El Salvador to care for people in need.

Office Manager
Nancy grew up in Ceylon and went on to Canby AVTI for dental assisting. After joining our office in 1988, she began as our receptionist. As our practice grew, she became the office manager and patient care coordinator. This means she helps you understand what your dental needs are, explains your options, and helps you navigate your way to dental health. With her experience level, she knows dentistry and can explain your options well.
Receptionist
Barb grew up in Fairmont. She has been a member of our staff since 2000, and we are glad to have her as our Receptionist. She brought with her an easy going personality. Her bright smile and 12 years of dental experience at Jackson/Fairmont Dental Lab mean she has a great sense of how to schedule appointments.
Her interests include trail riding and camping with their horses, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Barb does a great job of helping you become part of our practice family.

Certified in laser-assisted periodontal treatment, she knows how to treat periodontal disease and help you stay healthy. Kylie grew up in Fairmont and was even a patient at Birch Street Dentistry! She is a certified dental assistant who does a great job chairside, and even though she is younger, she fits well with our not-as-young team. Her interest in health led her to assist you with your own health.

Darcy is a Certified Dental Assistant and has been for over 3 decades. She is married to her husband Pat, and together they have a daughter who recently graduated from college. Darcy enjoys cooking, reading, snowshoeing, and camping in her free time. Darcy is a key part of providing quality care if you need a dental procedure. Her easy going personality, paired with a great sense of humor, adds another smiling face to our care team.
